Electroform Welding
Abstract
Electroform welding used to join variety of parts without addition of detrimental heat. Technique developed so large and/or complexly shaped parts joined without degrading properties of materials. Commercial uses include joining dissimilar alloys. Beneficial for suppression of distortion or maintenance of close tolerances in precise components.
