Full-Surface Phasing Of A Segmented Mirror
Abstract
Techniques based on physical and on geometrical optics applied jointly. Proposed combination of measuring and computing techniques used to determine deviation of surface of large, segmented telescope from ideal surface figure and to compute adjustments in alignments of segments to obtain optimum available compensation for deviations.
