Abstract
Several samples are presented of CFD-generated flow ribbon images of fuel flow in the SSME. The images result from simulations of H2 flow through a design iteration of the main injector, the hot gas manifold and the fuel bowl section. The color-coded ribbons provide three-dimensional perspectives which indicate the direction and orientation of the flow and the velocity magnitude in intervals along the flow path.
