Advanced and Nontraditional Concepts Working Group Report
Abstract
Advanced and nontraditional concepts relating to future space power requirements were examined with special emphasis on the requirements for the space station. Key findings in the following ares are outlined: dynamic radiation concepts, space nuclear reactors, energy conversion cycles, beam power transmission, electrodynamic tethers and advanced photovoltaics.
