Algorithms for identification and analysis of large space structures
Abstract
The identification of the mass, damping and stiffness matrix for the finite-element formulation of a structure will be given. It will be shown that the quadrature integration procedure can be used to find the desired matrices when reasonable assumptions hold. The mass, damping and stiffness matrices of the matrix polynomial are identified by the algorithm.
