Application of microprocessors to interplanetary spacecraft data systems
Abstract
The Galileo Command and Data Subsystems (CDS) is described. The CDS takes advantage of microprocessor technology which serves as the core of the distributed data system. The microprocessors are interconnected by a high speed data bus.
