Separating liquid and gaseous solutions
Abstract
Clusius-Dickel separation (CDS) technique, currently used in laboratoryscale separation of certain isotopes, may find more effective applications in low-gravity, space environments. Many advantages in power supply, mechanical stresses, and spatial arragement can be realized in space, making technique suitable for biological and polymer separations.
