From space on a parachute
Abstract
Improvements in the landing system of the Soyuz spacecraft are discussed. The system of parachutes is designed to guarantee a safe landing. The design attempts to cover all possible emergency situations. Selection of the landing area and time of ejection is an important aspect of safe descent.
