Composite laminate warpage
Abstract
Set of simplified equations predicts warpage that often occurs upon removal from fabrication mold. Equations predict corner deflection and are based upon micromechanics and macromechanics of composites, as well as laminate theory. Factors considered include ply misorientation, fiber migration, and void/volume ratio nonuniformity.
