The Space Shuttle and its utilization.

Abstract

An overview of the operational capabilities of the Shuttle. Slides are included to demonstrate the delivery of an automated satellite into a low earth orbit, a revisit of the Shuttle to a satellite previously placed in orbit, a combined mission of the Shuttle and a Tug to place a satellite in an orbit beyond the reach of the Shuttle alone, the allowable payload weight of the Shuttle as a function of incremental velocity, and a Sortie Mission.
