This presentation touches on motivation and applications of Zirconium. Performance of evaluated libraries on double and quasi differential experiments is considered. Additionally, the performance of evaluated libraries in select ICSBEP benchmarks is considered. Provided is a detailed look in the performance of evaluated libraries in preliminary benchmark configurations for IER-516: Zirconium Test Assembly (ZTA). Conclusions and recommended experiments to satisfy Zirconium scattering nuclear data needs are presented.
This presentation covers motivation for the Experiments Performed. Secondly, it touches on upgrades to the Experimental Apparatus for Measurements. Thirdly, it presents quasi-Differential Experimental Methodology a) Pulse Shape Discrimination b) Validation Measurement of Carbon. The presentation concludes with Preliminary Results and Future Studies.
This presentation gives a look to new cross section measurements and evaluations of Zirconium (Zr) isotopes. This lecture includes highlights of accomplishments made in 2022. Additionally, it explains the motivation for investigation, new measurements, and re-evaluation of the Zr isotopes. This presentation concludes with a preliminary evaluation result from RPI 90 Zr evaluation and preliminary results from Eigenvalue sensitivity study on Zr sensitive critical benchmark experiments.
SAMMY is an R-matrix Bayesian fitting program used in the analysis of nuclear cross section data. SAMMY produces separate cross section models in the resolved and unresolved resonance regions. This project develops a new method of continuous evaluation joining both energy regions with FITAPI. Full energy spectrum model introduces cross covariance between physics models allowing more accurate description of uncertainty. Consistency developed between physics models by the use of a unique set of prior parameters. An unresolved region cross section developed with sensitivity to resolved cross section. Incorporation into ORNL FITAPI provides access to greater number of parameter estimation algorithms.
