Characterizing the Value of Single Source CO 2 Intermediate Storage (CIS) to Optimize Pipeline Utilization/Economics

A report on the use of short-term storage of CO 2 at an intermediate location between source and storage. This stored CO 2 would be used to assure the pipeline between intermediate storage and final storage is optimally utilized.

CO 2 Intermediate Storage (CIS) Concept Overview

The objective of this overview is to provide a comprehensive set of qualitative considerations to inform future quantitative technical and economic CIS analyses. This overview focuses on CO 2 EOR as the end-user for CCUS supply chains that might implement CIS.
