Multifunction display system

The design and characteristics of a multifunction display system are discussed. The system is a general purpose, time-shared, electro-optical display driven by onboard data management systems. It is capable of presenting information in forms such as alphanumerics, symbolics, and graphics, separately or in combination. The components of the system are: (1) data terminal simulator/input loader, (2) keyboard controller, (3) CRT display indicator, and (4) programmable symbol generator.

Advanced C and D techniques and application study

A study was conducted to identify a broad base of payload control and display requirements for space missions. The subjects discussed are: (1) functional requirements and allocation analysis, (2) control and display generic device matrix, (3) control functional requirements, and (4) display functional requirements. Specific applications of payload control and display requirements for various disciplines are defined.
