This report contains details regarding the author's work experience during the summer of 2019 at Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos New Mexico as an undergraduate facility engineering intern. Their projects were categorized as follows: "Smart Lab" Renovation; HVAC Renovation; Life-Cycle Cost Analysis for TA-15; Life-Cycle Cost Analysis for TA-16; SM-30 HVAC Study.
Objective: to define the design scope of the CINT Smart Lab project for future implementation.
This set of slides documents the activities of the Associate Laboratory Directorate for Capital Projects (ALDCP) student team during the week of July 25, 2019. It summarizes the involvement of the group in the Smart Lab project, and the individual progress of separate projects, including the Life-Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) Calculator and Tests, the HVAC Renovation, and the Renovation Feasibility Study, with accomplishments and barriers for each.
