The Laboratory is a DOE Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) administered by the NNSA. Therefore, Laboratory facilities and equipment are subject to NNSA oversight. Work at the Laboratory is also subject to many federal laws that apply to the Laboratory’s federal land and property.
