Application of an Interferometric Phase Unwrapping Technique to Dealiasing of Weather Radar Velocity Fields
It is pointed out that dealiasing of Doppler weather radar velocity measurements is identical to the problem of phase unwrapping encountered in radar and optical interferometry. A technique developed for phase unwrapping in interferometric synthetic aperture radar is described and successfully applied to weather radar velocity dealiasing.
